Alice Springs to Uluru (Ayers Rock)
At present the red centre is a jungle of green and flowery purples and yellows. Jump now to watch the budgerigars nesting in their hundreds, even in the street trees in Alice Springs township. And Yulara - Ayers Rock has dense shrubs at the base with the gorges in the McDonald Ranges covered in flowers.
The Princess Parrots have nested for a second time in the past season and the numbers are swelling from 50+, up! Uncommon birds like Black-breasted Buzzard, White-fronted, Black, Grey-headed, Grey and Pied Honeyeaters, Little Button-quail, Dusky Grasswren, Western Bowerbird, Little Woodswallow and Red-backed Kingfisher, are out there in numbers.
You cannot go past this birding experience whilst the conditions are like nothing seen in this lifetime. Book NOW!
