Beautiful Bomaderry Creek is a world away from the hustle of Sydney, it holds the stunning Yellow-tufted Honeyeaters, Rock Warblers; endemic to the Sydney region, together with Varigated Fairy-wrens and Sacred Kingfishers we will be in birding heaven early into the weekend.

We then travel back to the coast to the beautiful rock platforms at Gerroa's Black Point where oystercatchers, terns and shearwaters keep your binos full of questioning identification. Then further south, following the Shoalhaven River with the tidal flats flocked with waders just starting to colour for their return journey northwards.

Day 2 starts with a morning walk beside the Shoalhaven River returning to breakfast full of early morning sightings. Spoonbills are on the menu at Greenwell Point and a Sea Eagle anything like Nevil's photograph would be splendid. Wending our way through Jervis Bay's beautiful National Park for those pristine beaches and coastal delights to Currarong rock shoreline and honeyeaters.

Finally the spectaular Point Perpendicular with gannets, shearwaters and views juggling for your attention. Homeward bound we may have time for a short stop in Currumbene State forest before icecream in dear little Berry township and home again, home again freshed and relaxed with memories overiding the week ahead.
